A man who needs no introduction for many, Dr Goldacre is best known for his best-selling books 'Bad Science' and its follow-up, 'Bad Pharma'. Now a senior research fellow at Oxford's Centre of Evidence Based Medicine, he has had a wide-spanning academic career and is also a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He is a passionate advocate for Evidence-Based Medicine and has recently received an OBE in the New Year's Honours List 2018. Dr Goldacre will be dispelling some of the myths about 'bad science' and promises to be a fantastically engaging and interesting speaker.
